Hello, my loves! I hope everyone is doing well and staying home unless you are essential workers of course. I understand that being at home for weeks and not knowing when this will end is hard on everyone. It is perfectly okay to not want to do anything and just binge Netflix or TV, these are stressful times, do whatever makes you happy and relax. Since we are not going outside, our skin is away from air pollution, especially in the city. It is still important to take good care of it, especially our faces. Personally, I like DIY face products, they are so much more natural, less harsh on your skin, and I have so much fun doing it. Below I share some of my favorite homemade face masks.
- Honey & Oatmeal: This first one is a great exfoliant, effortless to make, and it’s my personal favorite.
Ingredients:
- 1-2 tbsp of ground Oatmeal
- 1 tbsp of Honey
- 1 tbsp of warm water
Mix them in a bowl until you have a nice paste. Apply the paste with your fingers while massaging and let it sit for 5 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry with a warm cotton towel.

2. Avocado & Yogurt:
- 1/4 ripe Avocado
- 1 tsp of Plain Yogurt
- 1 tsp of Honey
Mix everything in a bowl. Apply the mixture and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry with a warm cotton towel.

3. Banana & Honey:
- 1/2 Banana
- 1 tsp of Honey
Mix everything in a bowl and apply the mixture to your face and let it sit for 5-15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry with a warm cotton towel.
